Join us for a conversation with Herschel Frierson, Chairman of the Board at the National Association of Black Accountants, Managing Director in the consulting group at Crowe, and recently named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting according to Accounting Today.
In this session, moderated by Jina Etienne, we will discuss the diversity of the accounting pipeline and NABA’s mission to bridge the opportunity gap for black professionals. Although 13% of the U.S. population is black, only 1% of partners in CPA firms are black. An essential part of closing this gap is the student pipeline. We’ll talk with Herschel about these challenges, opportunities for improvement, and ideas for how you can get involved to make a difference. We hope you join the conversation!
